W.I.S.E Gives Advice to the Young
W.I.S.E stands for Women In Search of Excellence.

W.I.S.E Conversations is the new girls-only group on campus headed by Lorna Wise who is volunteering her time and services to help young girls with issues such as self-esteem, body image and relationships.
Wise is an educator who works for the ABC Unified School District and the Orange Country Department of Education. She is passionate about helping young girls to overcome issues that they face everyday.
“My goal is to hopefully teach each girl something they never knew about being a young lady,” Wise said.
W.I.S.E Conversations is held in room 311 every Thursday at lunch. A signed permission slip is needed to join the group.
“This class is really good for girls, I love the fact that we can talk about anything, and I really mean anything,” Raquel Price (9) said.
So come on by and check it out if you are interested.
“It helps the girls express their real feelings, and lets them be themselves,” Nia King (9) said.
